Mother’s Day!

March 27, 2010 at 1:51 pm 4 comments

I decided not to give my Mum the traditional Mother’s Day gifts of flowers or chocolates this year, and instead made something for her instead.  My Mum and Dad have recently bought themselves a new campervan, and my Mum is very excited – this proved to be the inspiration for…

A Campervan tea cosy, and a couple of egg cosies!

I’m feeling very pleased with myself.  I didn’t have a pattern, and I don’t own a tea pot… yet it fit perfectly!  I didn’t know that my parents owned the campervan egg cups either, so it was a fluke that the colours matched so well.

My Mum loved it – and it will duly be placed in the campervan when it arrives in July 🙂

Thankyou – I felt the fabric was a little ‘retro’. I love it!

I love all the knitted thingies on your blog. I adore the slugs and hope that they will find their way to a plant pot near me soon. Thanks for all the laughs you gave me.

I think every plant pot deserves a slug!
